The daily chemical company is currently running into the era of digital intelligent manufacturing, using high-precision technology to practice the huge energy brought by new productivity. Through the introduction of dozens of unmanned forklifts of two types and the Tianshu dispatching system, the project upgraded the original logistics operation mode of Plant Z with a full stack, alleviated the pressure of line-side finished product accumulation, and greatly improved the efficiency of warehousing. And through the system deployment, the digital and standardized management of production data and warehousing information is realized.

Project benefits

In order to further improve the logistics automation level of Plant Z and reduce the cost and intensity of manual operation, the customer plans to carry out intelligent upgrading and transformation of various logistics scenarios of Plant Z, and complete the intelligence of packaging, palletizing and handling of cleaning products through the introduction of unmanned forklifts and dispatching systems, and manipulators.

Difficulty

11 production lines, the first floor and the second floor are operated at the same time, and unmanned forklifts are required to operate at the peak of production.

1. Solve the navigation problem in the dynamic environment

  • The multi-layer stacking height of materials in the workshop warehouse exceeds 3.5 meters, and the laser navigation radar of unmanned forklifts cannot fully identify the fixed building contour features other than the goods, and there are blind spot navigation in the running channel, which is in a dynamic real-time changing scene.
  • When running outdoors, it is necessary to solve the navigation problems in complex environments such as outdoor strong light irradiation environment, outdoor personnel and frequent intervention of social logistics vehicles.
  • It is necessary to solve the navigation and positioning operation in the high-level dense shelf scenario of the finished product warehouse (when there is no need to deploy additional navigation signs)

2. Maximize the efficiency of multi-vehicle scheduling and control

  • In the outdoor scenario, there is a problem that unmanned forklifts share the passage with manual, logistics trucks, and manual forklifts, and it is necessary to solve the problem of vehicle traffic control and avoidance in the park.
  • In the warehousing process of semi-finished products, there is a manual delivery of the same storage area and the same roadway, and it is necessary to solve the safety control problem of operating first and waiting later
  • After the finished product is delivered to the finished product warehouse, it is stored in the storage area, and the storage location in the finished product storage area is automatically managed, as well as the interaction between the unmanned forklift and the hoist and the conveyor line. (AGV warehousing in the finished product warehouse to the storage area, manual forklift real-time handling and delivery, it is necessary to solve the automatic inventory management after AGV warehousing and manual delivery, and in the absence of personnel operating system, real-time judgment of the empty state of the storage area and flexible scheduling of AGV)

Solution

After on-site investigation, AGV planned two types of dozens of counterbalanced forklifts for customers, and under the control of the Tianshu dispatching system (AGVS), the unmanned forklifts operated efficiently to complete the finished products on the first and second floors and sent the elevators off the assembly line, and then docked the elevator into the warehouse and the logistics unmanned operation from the finished products to the semi-finished product area on the second floor. In terms of informatization of goods, the intelligent management and tracking of warehousing inventory and goods are completed through WCS (warehouse control system) and WMS (storage location management system).

1. On the first floor, the finished product is off the assembly line - the entrance of the hoist

After the manipulator palletizing is completed, the finished product off-line handling work sheet is manually generated, and the AGV dispatching system receives the task and assigns the unmanned forklift to the designated production line station to pick up the goods according to the optimal operation strategy. After the unmanned forklift completes the pickup task, it will transfer the goods to the elevator conveyor line, and automatically scan the code to report the status of the goods to the system, so as to complete the automatic transportation of finished products from indoor to outdoor.

2. The finished product on the second floor is off the assembly line - the hoist on the first floor

Manually call the unmanned forklift to carry the stacked finished product to the entrance of the hoist on the second floor, and the unmanned forklift interacts with the PLC signal of the hoist and puts the finished product pallet on the conveyor line, and then the hoist sends the finished product to the elevator outlet on the first floor.

3. Co-cargo area

Outdoor exit of hoist-warehouse: When the conveyor line has the conditions for handing over the finished product, the AGV dispatching system allocates the target conveyor line. The unmanned forklift executes the instructions of the dispatching system and transfers the goods to the designated conveyor line entrance/plane buffer area in the warehouse.

The indoor unmanned forklift on the first floor controls the traffic intersection through the red street light to solve the safety control problem of manual forklifts and unmanned forklifts; When the outdoor hoist on the first floor picks up and transports, the gate poles and traffic lights are installed on both sides of the road, and the Tianyan camera recognition system is installed above the outdoor operation area to detect the situation of the operation area in real time with vision and solve the problem of unmanned forklifts and logistics trucks working together;

  • Real-time storage location management in and out of the warehouse
